• Hails Alhaja Sidikat Akaje, Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’ad’s inauguration as Iyaloja General, Babaloja General

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Holdings Limited, has conveyed the congratulatory message of Harmony Holdings Limited and the Kwara State Ease of Doing Business Council to the new executives of the Kwara State Association of Marketers (KWAMs).

Abdulmajeed who is also the State Reform Champion/Focal Person of the EoDB Council specially hailed the inauguration of respected elder business woman, Alhaja Sidikat Akaje as Iyaloja General of Kwara State as well as the unassuming Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’ad as Babaloja General of Kwara State.
The new exco emerged following the state government’s harmonization of the marketers’ union, as the Council lauded members on the positive milestone.

“On behalf of the Kwara State Ease of Doing Business Council and Harmony Holdings Limited, I congratulate the new executives of KWAMs. Alhaja Sidikat Akaje, the appointed Iyaloja General, is a woman of substance who is equal to the task. She has the leadership and managerial qualities that made her widely accepted by the teeming marketers. Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’ad, the Babaloja General, is also an unassuming and wonderful individual with proven leadership capacity.

“As the State Reform Champion and Focal Person of the Council, I note that both Alhaja Sidikat Akaje and Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’ad have always been offering us maximum support and the required audience in reaching out to and engaging the market people at the level of the Council. We enjoyed a smooth relationship with them and therefore identify with them on this milestone inauguration,” a statement by Abdulmajeed read.

“It is my hope that they will maintain this cordial relationship with the Council and work hand in hand with the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration in its avowed mission to boost the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) which have been identified to be the engine room of the economy and in which category the teeming marketers fall.”

The GMD/CEO prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the new exco resounding success in their assignment, while also rallying Kwara marketers to give them the necessary support.
