Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Holdings Limited Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has congratulated the people of Kwara State and Nigeria at large on marking a New Gregorian Year (2023).
The GMD/CEO noted that it’s worthy to appreciate the Almighty God for his mercies and blessings through the outgone Year 2022.
“I congratulate fellow Kwarans and Nigerians in general as we usher in a New Year (2023). The outgone Year 2022 was an admixture of experiences. We must however continue to appreciate the Almighty for his mercies and blessings that have sustained us and seen us through.
“As we open this new chapter, I urge everyone to rededicate and recommit themselves to growth and development. It is important that we ponder over the outgone year, do an assessment and seek to make improvement. The door of improvement is always open,” Abdulmajeed said in his statement.
He also charged the people to give peace, harmony and democracy a chance as we approach the general election in this new year.
“More than anytime else, we need to give peace a chance, show sufficient dose of understanding with ourselves and make commitment to democracy.
“I pray that the new year will usher in uncommon grace, rebounding and prosperity for everyone. I say congratulations to everyone on witnessing the dawn of a new year.”
